Join us as we discuss the risk factors of child sexual abuse and how CASA volunteers and staff can help prevent it. This continuing education session has been developed from the Praesidium Guardian training; it is designed to be an overview of risk factors and methods of prevention of child sexual abuse. We will discuss the effects of child sexual abuse, have an in-depth discussion of offender types, and learn how CASA should respond when we have concerns that abuse is occurring. This training includes recorded accounts from perpetrators of child sexual abuse.

Volunteers, this training qualifies as your required annual hour of continuing education on the topic of Abuse Risk Management, per policy.
